Paper Submission

Information for Authors

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit full paper for review. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered.

The format for the manuscript must satisfy the following requirements:

• Manuscript must be in English.

• The manuscript must follow IEEE two-column format with single-spaced, ten-point font in the text. The preferred manuscript length is five pages, including figures, tables, references, etc. However, papers up to six pages in length can be submitted and, if accepted, the sixth page will be subject to an overlength fee. For your submission you must use the standard IEEE templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at http://www.ieee.org/go/conferencepublishing/templates

• Papers must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) format.

• The submitted PDF file must embed all fonts.

• The paper registration and submission deadline is 06 July 2009

• Please register and upload your paper using the JEMS system. In case you do not have an JEMS account yet, follow the instruction at the JEMS website to create one (https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/Person.cgi?new=1).

• Using your JEMS’s account, log in and choose 'IMOC2009'.

• At the submission, the author can choose the paper's category (Oral or Poster). This category can be modified by the TPC Committee.

Best Student Paper Award

IMOC2009 will present Best Stundent Paper Awards. All accepted papers whose first author is a full time student will participate in this competition. Please indicate your participation by selecting the Category "Oral - Student Award" or "Poster - Student Award" when submitting your paper through JEMS.

Registration Policy

All IMOC2009 paper presenters must register at the FULL rate.  For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL registration is valid for up to two papers.
